GoodAudio Moves to TT+ Audio GTX for International K-Pop Push

The South Korean rental company has bought 88 GTX line-array modules, 52 GTS subwoofers, and XPS amplification through the official distributor, Sound Solutions.

South Korean rental company GoodAudio has invested in a large TT+ Audio system to support its expansion into the international K-pop concert market. Supplied by Korean distributor Sound Solutions, the package combines GTX 12, GTX 10 and GTX 7CP line-array modules and follows more than a decade of using RCF systems.

“Just one demo of the GTX 10 was enough to provide complete assurance,” said Dong Ho Kim, founder of GoodSound, now GoodAudio. “Thanks to that trust, the GTX 12 and GTX 7CP did not even need to be seen or heard, and GoodAudio was able to make the best choice with confidence.”

The demonstration followed almost a year of discussions with Sound Solutions. GoodAudio’s experience with its existing RCF inventory also informed the decision. In 2014, the company adopted TTL 55-A and TTL 33-A MK2 line arrays and TTS 56-A subwoofers for a rental business whose work includes K-pop concerts, large-scale festivals, broadcast music programs, national ceremonies and major events.

“The reproduced sound combines delicate detail with overwhelming power, offering a unique tonal character that provides a differentiated sound identity in live performance settings,” Dong Ho Kim said.

The new investment includes 48 GTX 12, 24 GTX 10 and 16 GTX 7CP line-array modules, with 36 GTS 29, eight GTS 19G and eight GTS 16C subwoofers. Eight GT 8 point-source loudspeakers and eight KX 515-A systems complete the loudspeaker inventory. The order also includes Dante-enabled 12 TTR-3 16KD amplification racks, six TTR-1 16KD racks and associated accessories.

The purchase accompanies GoodAudio’s reorganization and plans to develop its international concert business. Founded in 2004 in the Incheon National Industrial Complex, GoodSound established its headquarters in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, in 2017. In 2026, the business incorporated and rebranded as GoodAudio, with Jeonga Hwang becoming CEO. Former AMG CEO Seongmin Kim joined as vice president, while former Seoul Sound executive Jo Seungje became technical director and chief engineer.

Sound Solutions has worked with the company since Dong Ho Kim met its CEO, Hong Lee, in 2013. Shareholder Glenn Suh and sales director Shin Sangjin also played key roles in the latest investment. Shin’s work as a sound engineer on numerous K-pop performances had helped establish a close relationship with Dong Ho Kim.

“This was not merely a choice of gear, but a decision embodying the best sound, the best partner in Sound Solutions and a spirit of challenge toward the future,” Dong Ho Kim concluded.
