TT+ Audio GTX powers Arena Zabrze’s

Arena Zabrze has completed a significant phase of its long-running modernization with the construction and opening of the fourth stand, increasing seated capacity from approximately 25,000 to over 28,000, on its way to a target of 32,000. The venue totals approximately 57,000 m² of usable floor area and serves as the home of Górnik Zabrze in the PKO BP Ekstraklasa. The project marks the first TT+ Audio installation in Poland, delivered by TOMMEX—official distributor of RCF and TT+ Audio installation products—who handled system supply, commissioning, tuning, amplifier-room cabinet replacement, and user training.
URKOM Sp. z o.o. executed the new cabling infrastructure, and the work was coordinated alongside the stand build led by Mostostal Zabrze. The fully integrated sound system, designed by TOMMEX, was created to maintain consistent voicing across all stands in conjunction with the stadium’s existing PA system, and to meet match-day, public-area, and broadcast requirements with the highest quality audio. The new stand debuted on July 20, 2025, when Górnik Zabrze defeated Lechia Gdańsk 2–1 in the league opener before an announced crowd of nearly 25,000 fans.
At the core of the new system are TT+ Audio GTX line arrays, with eighteen GTX 10i modules flown in three clusters of six to deliver uniform coverage and high speech intelligibility. The GTX 10i system is the installed version of the GTX 10 touring line array, a compact, powerful, and high-class performance system that features the brand's acclaimed Precision Transducers and weather-resistant birch enclosures—well-suited to large open stands. System power and processing are provided by XPS 16KD four-channel amplifiers, offering 4 × 4000 W continuous at 2.7 Ω with 96 kHz, 40-bit DSP, factory presets, Dante connectivity, and complete RDNet control for monitoring, alignment, and device grouping. Yamaha MRX7-D matrices manage signal routing and processing, while a NETGEAR-based network backbone ensures reliable Dante audio transport and control across all stands. The new system is integrated with the facility’s Voice Alarm System, enabling program audio, announcements, and emergency EVAC signaling on a common platform.
The modernization strengthens Arena Zabrze’s event readiness with precise, scalable coverage, faster operations, and enhanced safety. The combination of TT+ Audio hardware, RDNet management, and a robust Dante network provides a coherent, future-ready solution for league fixtures, cultural events, and education programs—engineered, installed, and tuned to the venue’s geometry and use profile.
