TT+ Audio GTX Live Demo & Seminar Showcases Complete System Workflow in Cyprus
Nicosia, Cyprus — In May 2026, SP MegaSound hosted the TT+ Audio GTX Live Demo & Seminar at Pavilion Hall in Nicosia, bringing Cyprus’ professional audio community together for a focused technical and listening event.
“The original idea was to create a complete educational and listening experience for the professional audio market in Cyprus,” said Andreas Petrides, System Engineer, SP MegaSound Ltd. “We wanted participants to experience the full journey, from system design and prediction using RDShape, through tuning and optimization with RDNet, to finally experiencing the system in a real live environment.”
The program included a morning technical seminar for invited professionals and system engineers, followed by an afternoon demonstration open to attendees. Pavilion Hall was selected for its seminar facilities and large outdoor area, allowing the educational session and live listening experience to take place at the same venue.
The demonstration system featured 24 TT+ Audio GTX 10 line array modules, deployed as 12 modules per side, supported by 12 TT+ Audio GTS 29 subwoofers in cardioid configuration. RCF EVOX 12 systems were used for monitoring. The setup was planned to reflect a real large-format deployment, with RDShape used for prediction and RDNet used for system control, monitoring, and optimization.
“This event showed how important it is to connect technology with education,” said Massimo Bruni, International Sales Manager, RCF and TT+ Audio. “The GTX platform gives professionals a complete workflow, from prediction to deployment and control, and SP MegaSound created the right context for engineers and decision-makers to experience that process directly.”
The event was delivered through close collaboration between Andreas Petrides and Stelios Petrides, Managing Director of SP MegaSound Ltd, with support from RCF and TT+ Audio contributors including Emanuele Morlini, Massimo Bruni, Fausto Incerti, and Alberto Ruozzi. The live demonstration also featured a percussion performance by ArsenP, the renowned Cypriot drummer, percussionist, and composer.
Attendees responded positively to the system’s clarity, headroom, and consistent coverage, as well as to the opportunity to follow the complete workflow from design to deployment. One of the most interesting outcomes of the event emerged during the discussions between sound engineers, venue owners, and event professionals. A common conclusion was that modern professional sound systems are capable of delivering significantly higher sound pressure levels while maintaining exceptional clarity, intelligibility, and listener comfort. Many attendees commented that the demonstration changed their perception of acceptable operating sound levels, recognizing that a properly designed and optimized system can operate at much higher levels without creating the listener fatigue traditionally associated with loud sound. As a result, several venue owners indicated that they would be reviewing and, where appropriate, increasing their operating sound level policies in the future.
For SP MegaSound, the event marked an important step toward supporting technical education, strengthening relationships within the local professional audio market, and opening new opportunities for collaboration in Cyprus.
